After hearing all the words Sinner spoke, he did not fear when Sinner went into the blaze of anger. Then he seen the blade flash in front of him and he wanted to run but he did not and the blade stuck into his wrist. A noise awoke the dozing Sik. The playful breeze tossed his hair around him, fanning his locks out around him like a cloak. He sat up, pushing his windswept hair out of his face. The noise that had awoken him continued, and as he watched an egg began to shake. Softly at first, then more and more violently, until it seemed to hum.
His sleep filled eyes just watched it, stunned. Then, slowly, he got to his feet. Boot heels clicking on the smooth rock as he stepped down onto the leafy floor. His golden eyes never left the sight of that rocking, shaking oblong form. He couldn't take his eyes off it, though it had never occurred to him to try.
Walking softly, silently, holding his breath; almost as if it would stop if he made a sound. He reached the nest, and stood (not quiet over the egg) watching.

She raised an eyebrow at the cat... "Ok so you're not a real cat... or you can just talk.." She muttered, staring into the distance. "My tribe said something about a crazy woman. Any idea where she is?"

As the light breeze swept across the eggs a ride awakened. It opened its eyes and lifted its head turning to where the scent of a man was coming from. Nostrils flared slightly as it rose to its small paws. Walking up to the egg shell it pawed at it curiously. Then the small ride began to run in circles. Each time he got faste and faster until he was running at top speed. Now the egg was shaking violently.

He heard her words and let her stroke him before a smirk alit on his features. "Awww is the little Akira confused by big scary riddles?" His words held the same baby talk mocking her own words. He stepped back and looked at her once more smirk still on his features.
She patted the cat as he rubbed against her. "aw, you are pretty aren't you" She spoke in a very baby voice. Why did people always do that when talking to something smaller than them? Eh, who cares. "So what are you doing out here deep in the forest? You don't look like a stray." She stroked the cat again. "ugh this would be so much easier if people just told you exactely what to do! Find this place in the forest and do blah blah blah and you'l blah balh blah. None of this stupid riddles and such."

After a few hours of nothing, Sik leaned back against the big elm that butted up against the flat rock. He contemplated his life so far. He had love, and lost it. He had a family, but that was long ago and far away. He would be the leader of the lightning clan, and he must learn as much as he could in a short amount of time. But, lucky for him, Sik learned quickly.
His golden eyes watched the eggs without seeming to stare. Those eggs held his hopes for the future, and for once he had nothing to say, nothing to think, and nothing to do. His future rested upon him gaining a wolf, and if he failed.... He wouldn't think about it. Shaking himself, and whispering harshly to gain control of his wayward thoughts, he sighed. Then rested his head against the rough bark of the tree.
He decided to focus on his future. What would he do as a leader? How would he figure out what was right and what wasn't? He didn't know, and could only pray he'd figure out something.
A breeze blew softly through the trees making the leaves dance, casting molten light upon the eggs. It lifted his ebony locks and seemed to play with them. That breeze felt good, cool in the heat of the day. It made him smile, though it wasn't a true one, it was there all the same.

That was it! The fire had been lit and now it burned with a such a dangerous intensity that the horse shrunk back in fear. Sorrow took a few more steps away from Sinner as he sensed the anger that roared. He turned and glared at the boy and the pup. "May Sinner have mercy on your soul."His words were bone chilling but the meaning was clear. They were screwed.
Just as Sorrow moved out of the way Sinner had whirrled around and advanced a couple steps. His off colored eyes blazed with pure outrage. Anyone could tell that Jade was in deep nuts. "What did you say punk?" His words were a snarl and as Sinner's lips curled they revealed unnaturally pointed and sharp fangs. He looked unnatural, like a demon that had arose from hell.
Suddenly fire erupted from Sinner's hands and was thrust at Jade. If Jade tried to doged being hit in the chest he would be badly burned in the shoulder. Once more a snarl erupted from Sinner as he ran forward blade withdrawn. He launched himself atop Jade before the boy could recover attempting to plunge the blade into Jade's right arm.

Nothing stirred within the eggs. All was quiet for once but it seemed to give off an eerie presence. Something inside an egg had awoken though. It stirred only lightly which meant it hadn't made a sound or moved the egg.

A soft mew came from his vocals as he thingyed his head to the side. He was going to play a little game and see how long it would take her to tell a bit about herself to a cat. He wanted to know if she was one he could trust or if he should just walk off. He leaned and brushed his head against her with a soft purr. Inside though he shrank away. He couldn't believe what he was doing but oh well, somethings just have to be done. He heard her talking and could guess she would have trouble talking to a cat that didn't talk back. He chuckled slightly as he thought of how weird this game was at the moment.
